Alhaja Bosede Saudat Yusuf turns 60 -----Family, friends celebrate the political Icon

 




Saturday, 20th May, 2023 will forever remain a memorable day for the families of Olopade and Yusuf and indeed residents  of Agege, particularly Oredapo Street, Off Capitol Road, Alfa-Nla, Agege, Lagos. 

For it was that day an iconic figure and distinguished politician was celebrated. 

Alhaja Bose, as she is fondly called by many celebrated her 60th birthday in grand style. 

Alhaja Saudat Bosede Yusuf, a woman of impeccable character, though according to her decides to celebrate the birthday in a low-key,   didn't hide her feelings and glory of Allah in her life, she really 

marked the day in an-epoch laden event at her Agege palatial mansion when family, friends and political associates rallied round her to rejoice and appreciate God in her life  

Alhaja Bosede Saudat Omowumi Yusuf, nee Olopade was born in Ibadan on May 19,1963 to the family of Alhaji Agboola Muritala Olopade and Mama Sulatu Olopade, in a quiet and serene environment in Agbole Aladorin, Aremo, Ibadan.

She spent early part of her life in Ibadan, especially during her primary, post primary and tertiary education before proceeding to Lagos for greener pastures.

 A devout, fervent, orthodox and pious Muslim,  who exemplifies iconic leadership traits in all her public and private life, is a globally travelled business tycoon. 

She was, and still a blessing and inspiration to thousands of people near and far, who had gone on holy pilgrimage to Mecca, one of the five pillars of Islam. 

No wonder all her school mates including the Head Boy of her secondary school during her set while she was the Head Girl, Alhaji Sikiru Odeyinka came all the  way from Dublin, to honour her old school mate. 

Also among the dignitaries that graced the epoch-making event included Iyalaje Canada, her old friend, Mrs Faro, and her siblings from Ibadan, among whom were Elder Kayode Cornelius Olopade, Mr and Mrs Olatunji,  Ms Rafata Olopade, Miss Kehinde Awotunde, Iya Kazeem, Anti Silifa, among others. 

Other dignitaries also include the entire Yusuf family led by Olori Agba, Alhaja Kudirat Yusuf, Sheriff Yusuf among others.

Political associates, friends, market leaders, religious leaders and community leaders were not left behind.

Alhaja Bosede Saudat, a sport lover and who also loves travelling is happily married to Alhaji Rasheed Yusuf and blessed with children and grand children.
