In continuation of the ongoing 50th anniversary celebration of the existence of Eko Club, a foremost indigenous club in Nigeria in conjunction with Hon Lukman Lawal, organised free health and distribution of free drugs and glasses for the residents and people in Surulere and it's environment yesterday.
Not less than a thousand residents of Surulere have received a wide range of medical attention, as Eko Club advocated good health as inevetable for every living soul.
President of the Club, Rasak Amodu said the free medical outreach which was organised in celebration of the Club's 50th anniverssary, was a way of appreciating the community which has accomodated its activities for five decades.
The outreach featured free health tests on Prostate, ECG Cardiovascular, diabetic as well as scaling, polishing and removal of teeth, including the donation of 500 eye glasses and drugs to cure different deceases among others.
"The free medical programme was our own way of appreciating the community which has accommodated our activities and existence for five decades in Surulere.

The Club's medical director, Doctor Oluwole Sanda expressed the standard of the test and treatments offered was far beyond the regular free medical outreach.
The President, Executive Committee and members of the Eko Club however showered prasies on the Special Assistant to the Speaker House of Representative, Lukman Lawal for his sponsorship of the outreach, and prayed that God rewards his good heart and and support towards the people's health.
